ESM’s work is built on four pillars that support the mental wellness of students, families, and faith communities. Each program is designed to reduce stigma, prevent suicide, and build capacity across systems that serve youth.
-Strength in Schools
Middle and high school initiatives focused on early prevention. Peer-led wellness clubs, staff training in Mental Health First Aid, and implementation of Sources of Strength help build resilient school cultures.
Support for parents and caregivers navigating youth mental health challenges. Quarterly Parent Cafés, Spanish and English webinars, and a digital resource library reduce stigma and increase confidence at home.
Programs for faith and community leaders to respond to mental health concerns. Training for peer mentors, storytelling forums, and workshops normalize help-seeking and equip trusted adults to take action.
Support for college students through on-campus Mental Health Days, peer support groups, and suicide prevention toolkits in partnership with counseling centers.
