About us

Our Story

Eternal Sunshine Ministries began with a bold belief: that hope can shine even in the hardest places. From its earliest days working with youth in crisis, ESM has grown into a trusted leader in suicide prevention and emotional wellness across Franklin and Delaware Counties.

We walk with youth and young adults as they heal, connect, and discover their purpose. Every training, every conversation, every outreach is grounded in faith and built for measurable impact.

Our Mission

To illuminate pathways of healing, resilience, and transformation for vulnerable youth and young adults through suicide prevention, emotional wellness, and purpose-driven mentorship.

Vision

We envision a community where young people know they are not alone, where schools and families are equipped to respond, and where faith and mental health walk hand in hand to prevent crisis before it starts.

Values

Faith Our foundation and compass in every conversation. Dignity Every life has value, and every story matters. Courage We meet hard topics head on, with compassion and truth. Collaboration We do our best work when we do it together. Accountability Transparent, data-informed, and committed to real results.

Meet Our Founder

Sunshine Steele is a nonprofit leader, speaker, and community advocate with more than 15 years of experience in youth mental health and trauma-informed care.
